First visit
The first visit usually takes about an hour. Bring a photo ID. We text you the new-patient forms beforehand so you can fill them out at home.

We take most PPO plans. Text us the name of yours and we will check it before you come in.

A few practical answers
Are you taking new patients?+
Yes. Book online in a few taps, or text the office — including after hours. We reply during the day, and first thing the next morning if you write overnight.
Can I really text at 2 a.m.?+
Yes. Text (818) 224-4224 any time. That was always the old-site invitation, and it still is. We respond during business hours; after hours, first thing the next morning.
Do you lecture patients about flossing?+
No. This is a nag-free office. Dr. Rostamian offers suggestions and shares what he sees. Your choices are respected.
Will the numbing hurt?+
We use a mosquito-style injection: smallest needle, a drop, a pause, then the rest. Many people say they did not feel it. If you hate staying numb afterward, ask for a shorter-acting anesthetic or the reversing shot.
How should I talk to my child before a visit?+
Skip the pep talk. Words like shot, pain, owie, and “it won’t hurt” tend to land as hurt. We use sleepy juice and water-whistle in the chair. One quiet parent nearby is plenty; extra siblings in the room usually do not help.
What languages do you speak?+
English, Farsi (Persian), Armenian, and some Spanish.
