Care

What we offer

A short list, on purpose. Enough training for the larger cases — and enough restraint to leave well enough alone.

  1. 01

    Dental Implants

Careful planning with 3D imaging and advanced training for natural, lasting results.

Think of an implant as a man-made root — nothing removable, and no neighboring teeth have to be cut down. Dr. Rostamian trained at the Misch Implant Institute under Dr. Carl Misch. Low-radiation 3D cone beam scans show bone volume, nerves, and sinuses so we can stay away from what we should stay away from. Planning starts from the finished crown and works backward to the exact place and angle of the implant. If bone is thin — for example under the maxillary sinus, or near the lower nerve — we talk through grafting or another plan before anything is placed. Filling an extraction site with bone at the time of removal is often the kindest way to keep the option open later.

  2. 02

    Gum Health

A calm, antimicrobial approach focused on healing and long-term balance.

“Deep cleaning” sounds like a colonoscopy. It is not. Periodontal work is about the tissue around the tooth: if gums bleed or bone has started to change, we clean the tartar that houses the microbes and invite healthier ones to take their place. Numbing is available if the area is sore — it is not required. Once inflammation settles, the pain should go with it. The real work is keeping harmful microbes from moving back in: Waterpik, an antiseptic in the water, and simple home habits we will show you. Saliva testing is available when we need to know which microbes are causing trouble.

    Crowns & Fillings

Metal-free restorations chosen for strength, beauty, and gentle bonding.

We do not place mercury (amalgam) fillings. Cavities are disinfected and restored with BPA-free composite, placed in small increments and light-cured so the seal at the edge stays honest. Crowns are usually E-max — lithium disilicate — because it is naturally translucent, very strong, and can be adhesively bonded rather than just cemented. Bonding etches tooth and crown, seals the dentin, and reduces sensitivity. No dark metal line at the gum later. When older silver fillings need to come out, a mercury-safe protocol (rubber dam, high-volume suction, and other protections) keeps vapor as close to zero as we can — for you, the team, and the room. We do not remove amalgam during pregnancy; if you are planning a pregnancy, ask us first.

  4. 04

    Cosmetic Care

Subtle refinements designed to look natural and feel comfortable.

This is a personal decision and usually not reversible, so we start with honest questions: Do you hide your smile? Do front teeth occupy more of your mind than they should? Are old crowns a different color? If you go forward, expect numbing, some shaping, a temporary while the lab works, and a little cold sensitivity in that waiting week. E-max crowns or veneers keep metal out of the smile. Shape, shade, and bite are planned so the result looks like you — not a template.

  5. 05

    Night Guards & Sleep

Custom appliances for grinding and mild sleep-related concerns.

Grinding and clenching wear enamel, crack restorations, and tire the jaw — and they often travel with snoring or unrefreshing sleep. In mild or moderate obstructive sleep apnea, a custom appliance that keeps the tongue more forward can be enough; more significant cases belong with a CPAP and a sleep physician. Morning headaches, a tired jaw, daytime fatigue, or getting up often at night are worth mentioning. We look for the dental signs. A night guard fitted to your bite is a small intervention that can protect a lot of dentistry.

  6. 06

    Family Care

Unhurried, gentle visits for anxious patients and the whole family.

Most people would rather be almost anywhere else than at the dentist. We keep that in mind — for children, for first-timers, and for anyone who has been avoiding a chair for years. With kids we never say “shot.” We say sleepy juice, water-whistle, a quick pinch. Parents are welcome nearby; often one quiet helper in the room is better than a crowd. Visits stay unhurried. We move gently. The aim is that a checkup can feel closer to a haircut than an ordeal.

Metal-free, on purpose

Many people are not told they can react to metals used in older dentistry. We use metal-free restorations and BPA-free composite so that problem is designed out of the room. They also look more like teeth.

Mercury-safe removal

When silver amalgam fillings need to come out, a rubber dam, high-volume suction, and a careful protocol keep vapor exposure as close to zero as we can — for patients, for staff, and for Dr. R. We do not remove amalgam during pregnancy. If you are planning a pregnancy, ask us first.
