Dr. Rostamian has spent over 20,000 hours refining his techniques for restoring oral health. He trained at the Misch Implant Institute under Dr. Carl Misch — the clinician who literally wrote the textbook on dental implants — and brings advanced digital technology, including low-radiation 3D cone beam imaging, into everyday care.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences from UCLA, with an emphasis on integrative biology. That background still shapes how he thinks about treatment: the mouth is connected to the rest of a person, so medical history and options stay in conversation, not in a vacuum.
After UCLA he attended the USC School of Dentistry, where he spent much of his free time volunteering at the Mobile Children’s Clinic and working in the emergency clinic, almost daily, on top of his regular studies. Helping people out of pain — and making young patients laugh — is still the part of the work he likes most.
Since then he has continued coursework in bite analysis, smile design, and implants. Patients often notice his light-hearted approach first, and a genuine wish to make visits feel less clinical and more human.
“Do for others what you want them to do for you.”
That is the practice philosophy in one line. You are visiting a friend. Suggestions are offered. Choices are respected. If treatment is needed, it is done with a tender touch.
